The Summit Synthetic series is robust, easy to look after and warm even when damp. Designed for entry-level walkers, general camping and outdoor education students, this affordable synthetic sleeping bag has a focus on low weight and compact packed size. It’s available in three sizes – small, regular and large – and two temperatures (lower limit of comfort for males/females -5/+1°C, -10/-4°C, all independently tested in accordance with ISO 23537-1). The tapered shape and half-moon foot-box is complemented by a full-length YKK #5 zip with anti-snag cover. Made from 10 D Vapour Vent V2 fabric, it’s filled with multiple layers of thermally-bonded Thermolink for maximum warmth.
The Summit is the updated version of the OESB and SAC sleeping bags.

HOW WARM WILL I BE?
ISO 23537-1 temperature testing provides a temperature limit at which a ‘standard male’ or ‘standard female’ will sleep in thermal equilibrium (have a comfortable night’s sleep).
Both the ‘standard male’ and ‘standard female’ are based on a 25-year-old who is fit and healthy. If you’re older or younger, you may sleep colder than the ‘standard’, so we would recommend considering a warmer bag. Your other equipment (sleeping mat, pillow, tent style) the environment (weather, location) and your biology can affect warmth over the night.
THE IMPORTANCE OF INDEPENDENT ISO 23537-1 TESTING
Each ONE PLANET Summit Synthetic sleeping bag is temperature rated in accordance with the International Organisation for Standardisation 23537-1 (Requirements for sleeping bags). This is the only globally recognised standard for the temperature testing of sleeping bags, and gives ratings for both females and males. Testing sleeping bags to ISO 23527-1 allows users to make informed, educated and accurate decisions.
The ISO 23537-1 testing methods allows objective comparisons of the warmth of different shapes (box foot, zip foot), sizes (small, regular and large), fill quality (synthetic fill, 700+ down fill power or 800+ down fill power), construction and design.
Not all manufacturers test to this standard, nor do they give information about how they arrive at their temperature ratings. As a result, care should be taken when comparing claims of warmth.
