The grip is 3-ply laminated black cherry, the shaft is laminated 3-ply ash and basswood, and the blade is 7-ply laminated cherry, basswood, and butternut. The tip of the paddle is made with super-strong casting resin and the entire paddle is coated in high-gloss exterior polyurethane with UV inhibitor. The result is a beautiful and lightweight paddle that is graceful and dreamy to use yet rugged enough for the roughest of users.
