A gorgeous traditional timber paddle made for Wenonah Canoe by Grey Owl Paddles of Canada. It's made from a single piece of cherry timber and has a hand-rubbed oil finish for an amazing feel in your hands and in the water. The long, thin blade gets below the surface chop and allows you to gain purchase from the more stable water down deep. The thin blade profile also allows for nearly frictionless feathering through the water. The tip of the paddle also has an insert made of casting epoxy which helps avoid damage. Choose a paddle that is 4 - 6" longer than your standard chosen paddle length (due to the extended blade size).
